Great quality ink and color.

I'm using this ink with a J Herbin Transparent Fountain Pen, also purchased from Pen Chalet. Whether the fault of the male part of the pen or the quality of the plastic from which the ink cartridge is made, the fact is that the ink leaks from the cartridge into the forward assembly of the pen containing the nib. I've tried to use three different cartridges from the box of 18 with the same result.

I got this primarily to go into my Classic Sport in Bordeaux. Ink flow is very nice. I love being able to use colors other than black or blue without the color being too "out there." I know it's sometimes hard to beat Amazon prices on things, but this same item goes for much more on Amazon (from what I've seen) so I'm so happy to be able to get it here!

Love that they have cartridgea. Diamine inks are great!

I have seen samples of this ink...Looked darker to me...In my pens seems lighter although I like blue black inks over just blue or black. Still nice though.

I don't use cartridges, but I bought these to try to convert some family members into being fountain pen lovers. I thought this would ease them in. I don't really think it worked, but the cartridges did the job they are supposed to do. If you are looking for a no hassle way to change ink out this will do it.

Overall Diamine is my favorite brand of inks. They have a great selection of colors and perform well. I've never had any problem with any of the Diamine colors I've used in any of my pens. I usually use bottled inks and a converter, but I have one pen that is too small for a converter. These work very well in it. These are international standard size cartridges which many fountain pens accept. Some brands, however, only take their brand and size of cartridge and converter. As long as these fit your particular brand of pen, I recommend them without reservation. They are reasonably priced, too. I bought the Imperial Purple which I like.
