About the Visconti Michelangelo Venus
The Visconti Michelangelo Venus rollerball pen has the same 18 faceted barrel design and spring loaded arc clip as other Visconti Michelangelo pens but the more feminine colors. The pen was inspired by Botticelli’s beloved painting, The Birth of Venus. Choose from either rose with rose gold trim or white with platinum plated silver trim.

And of course, we have the Visconti Michelangelo Venus Rollerball Pen. This is the white marbleized version. There's a little marbleized color to the cap and the barrel of the pen. You can see just a little bit of gray marble swirl in there. Chrome-colored accents. You can see the Visconti logo there at the top of the cap. The Visconti arch-shaped clip; spring-loaded, opens nice and easily. I like that. The bottom of the cap of the pen, you can see, faintly, the Venus engraved in that design with the Visconti V there on the backside.
The Michelangelo pens have an 18-faceted design which means there are small, flat sections along the cap and the barrel of the pen. And those sections give you a little shimmer, a little glisten. But it also keeps the pen in place. When you set it down, it keeps it from rolling away, which is a nice feature.
There at the bottom of the barrel of the pen is a small chrome finial. The cap on the pen is magnetic catch, so it opens by simply pulling off, but it's held in place with a magnet.
To change the refill on the pen, you unscrew the section and the refill is inside. It comes with a Visconti AA40 or 401 here at the end, if you're looking for the refill to exchange.

This is the Visconti Michelangelo Venus Rollerball Pen. It comes in a large, leather box. It has the Visconti logo embossed on the center of the box lid. Rounded edges. Small drawer on one side; it pulls out with information about Visconti. Hinge-style lid. It has a leather interior as well. On the underside of the box lid, the Visconti logo has been printed.And of course, we have the Visconti Michelangelo Venus Rollerball Pen. This is the white marbleized version.
