The YStudio Classic Revolve fountain pen is an evolution of the popular brand's original Classic Fountain Pen and a celebration of 10 years! A return to the essence of design, the YStudio Classic Revolve fountain pen a a truly pure fountain pen creation.
The 1st release with YStudio's own nib, the YStudio Classic Revolve fountain pen nib is embossed with the first logo of the YStudio brand (from the early days of the company). However, the body of the pen showcases the brand's new logo in celebration of the 10th anniversary. Together both logos on this momentous pen release represent the link between the past and the future.
The YStudio Classic fountain pen series is covered with a matte lacquer finish. The six corners of the pen are finely polished to reveal shining gold brass lines.
The YStudio Classic fountain pens are cut from solid brass, and the hexagonal pen body is in the style of the brand's most popular design. Pure and simple, the YStudio Classic Revolve fountain pen offers a thicker pen body along with just the right balance of weight and solidity.
Each YStudio Classic Revolve fountain pen comes packaged with one ink converter included (International Standard size).
Use & Care of YStudio Brass Pens:
All Brass: YStudio's brass pens are designed to reflect the use of their writer. Each will change depending on the different users and various environments. The natural oxidation is expected and part of the design of the pen - making it a truly unique representation of your writing experience. The oxide is harmless. If a writer wishes to restore the original luster, you may do so by wiping the pen body with Brass Polish. Without any surface treatment, we hope each product can maintain its individual marks created by the constant use of each writer.
Blue?Black?Green?Red: The blue, black, green or red paint will gradually wear off due to daily use, which reveals the brass underneath the color on your pen. YStudio refers to this as the "brassing effect". Writers can create a personalized brassing effect by removing the paint on the surface with sandpaper (which is included in the product's packaging).
What Ink Should I Use with My YStudio?
YStudio recommends using inks with a moderate thickness in order to see optimum performance with YStudio pens. Brands that are known to offer moderately thick fountain pen ink include: Pelikan, Waterman, Cross, etc.
Engraving Your YStudio Fountain Pen:
Engraving is a very popular and unique option that adds an additional personal touch to your fountain pen - whether it is a commemorative purchase for a milestone in your own life, a gift for a friend or coworker, etc. YStudio recommends choosing 15 or less characters for your engraving.
