About the Stipula Etruria Tortoise
Each Stipula Etruria Tortoise fountain pen has been crafted from solid bars of high-grade Italian resin and then hand polished. This over-sized cigar-shaped pen is comfortable to use and has been fitted with a stainless steel iridium tipped nib. The pen will accept standard international ink cartridges or a converter.

Great nib and writing experience. Poor quality control with glue all over, finish is damaged, poor clip fitting, trim is spotty thin matte finish. Not the quality I expected and for this price, unacceptable.

The pen starts instantly and writes beautiful Fine line!
The nib has just a touch of feedback.
The tortoise material is translucent with great color.
Glad I didn't choose the mat black Gorilla version.
The pen is big, wide, but not too heavy.
Significantly bigger than a Pelikan M800 or Duofold Centennial.
If they made a smaller version I'd buy one. Don't know if I'd buy another this size.
I got mine on sale and it was a great value.

Frankly, I had concerns about buying this pen, especially since it has a steel nib. I love the appearance of this pen, though, and from past experience knew the shape of the Etruria would fit my hand well. But I was afraid it would not write well. I was pleasantly surprised to find that not only does it write smoothly, but it exceeds the fluidity of many of my more expensive pens. I've taken to using it to journal daily and at the moment it's my no. 1 go-to pen. For the price, it's an excellent value and I can't recommend it more highly.
