The pen we have is the orange version, it also comes in a clear demonstrator as well as a blue. The pen is quite compact with the cap on it. It measures just under 4 inches. You can unscrew the cap and post the pen, which I would recommend for writing so it's a little bit longer. It makes it about an inch longer with the cap posted. It measures about 5 inches with the cap on. It has the Stipula logo here on the clip, the little leaf logo, and on the nib it has etched into it Stipula.
This is a cartridge/eyedropper fountain pen, so the pen comes with an eyedropper that is used to fill the pen if you choose to use bottled ink. To do that you simply unscrew the nib section of the barrel, you can set that nib aside and then you would use the eyedropper to draw the ink and to fill the chamber of the pen. You want to fill until it's about 1/2 inch from the top and then you would keep that pen upright and then screw the nib section back into the barrel.

The pen is good looking, and for small hands, a nice instrument to hold. For a medium-sized man's hand, it's probably too small. The nib is flat, like a calligraphy pen, and I am using it more for drawing. There is a clear directional element to the stroke, and there is more drag than I like for writing, but for drawing, it's good.
