The S.T. Dupont Line D Large Starburst & Sunburst Pen Collection is a USA Exclusive edition bringing two spectacular writing instruments to writing enthusiasts and pen collectors for the 2021 holiday season. The Starburst and Sunburst fountain pens showcase S.T. Dupont’s expert ability to apply natural lacquer to the highest quality luxury pen designs.

Each S.T. Dupont Line D Starburst & Sunburst fountain pen is crafted at the S.T. Dupont factory in Faverges, France using ancient Japanese and Chinese techniques. After up to 9 layers of sumptuous natural lacquer are hand-painted onto the brass pen barrel leaving a pearl-like shimmer and a luxurious finish resistant to shocks, scratches, and even fire, the pens are polished. After they are polished, each pen is sprayed with an additional pearlescent lacquer in small spurts to create the unique "burst" effect.

The Starburst fountain pen features a blue natural lacquer with silver pearlescent spray paired with palladium trim and a 14kt solid white gold nib. The Sunburst fountain pen features a black natural lacquer with gold pearlescent spray, a 14kt gold nib, and gold trim. S.T. Dupont Line D Large Starburst or Sunburst fountain pens are available in a variety of nib sizes (EF, F, M, or B).

The S.T. Dupont Starburst and Sunburst Collection's unique finish is applied to the iconic oversize Line D design. Recently remodeled with a new, bold blazon on the articulated clip, an enhanced Dupont 'D' in the crown of the cap, and a perfectly balanced shape for exceptional writing, the Line D is a wonderful foundation for this stellar pen. The pen cap closes with Dupont's iconic 'cling' and features a fluted grip section for a superb writing experience.
