About the Ranga Abhimanyu
The Ranga Abhimanyu fountain pen is a small cartridge converter pen handmade in India. Pens in this collection are made of high-quality resin or premium ebonite, each fitted with a stainless steel Bock nib. The cap is threaded but not postable, and the section matches the barrel. Choose from a variety of particularly interesting color combinations, and each pen showcases its unique color patterns depending on the piece of resin used.
Small enough to be considered a pocket pen, this handmade pen has an interesting silhouette that tapers on either end, leaving writers with a substantial barrel that rests in hand like a standard-size pen, making the Abhimanyu more comfortable for longer writing sessions.
The Ranga Abhimanyu cartridge converter filling system is compatible with standard international-size ink cartridges or converters.

This is a beautiful pen with a quality build. I had an issue with the Bock nib that came with it, and Pen Chalet was able to send a replacement Conklin Jowo nib that worked fine. Great customer service in addressing the issue quickly. Highly recommend these Ranga pens!

I am very pleased with the pen. Perhaps an incidental observation unrelated to performance, but I love the color. It cheers me each time I pick it up.

I am exceedingly enjoying this pen. Being real ebonite is has that smell of sulfur. Being hand made, one can feel the hidden irregularities that keep the perimeter of the barrel and cap from being purely cyllindrical. The material is nearly 100% pure, I have one black spec, about the size of a grain of sand that gives it character and lets me know its mine. The nib is perfectly buttery smooth. It is a joy to use and much like my other Ranga pens. It has no clip, like all my other ebonite pens, from other companies. I put J.Herbin Rouge d'Orient red ink and it nearly matches the barrel color when dry. I learned about Ranga here at Pen Chalet and am enjoying all of them. The grip section also allows my big hands to comfortably hold it further from the nib, as I need to do. Very happy. Highly Recommended.
