the pen. The M 215 Fountain Pen is about the same size as the 200. The difference between the two is this pen has chrome accents and a chrome clip, which is the Pelikan bill clip that is traditional of Pelikan pens. On the bottom of the cap around the ring is etched Germany and Pelikan, and we have some additional chrome rings that go down the pen. On the top of the cap is the Pelikan logo. The cap unscrews and you can post the pen. It's a nice balanced pen, nice size. It comes with a stainless steel nib which matches the chrome accents of the pen.
Unlike the 200 series Pelikan Fountain Pens the chamber has a smokey dark color so it looks black on the viewing window, where the 200 would have a green window. To fill the pen you simply unscrew the bottom portion of the barrel and that draws the piston in and out. You can't see it on this pen, but on a clear demonstrator you would be able to see the piston moving in and out as it draws the ink into the pen.

This is the Pelikan M 215 Fountain Pen. It comes in a cardboard box which slides apart. Inside of the box we have this nice soft leather pouch which the pen comes in, as well as the information instructions and warranty instructions forthe pen. The M 215 Fountain Pen is about the same size as the 200. A wonderful pen, nibble and beautiful looks, that writes very smoothly for a steel nib. I have a medium nib, but writes more like a fine.
