About the Pelikan Jazz
The Pelikan Jazz fountain pen is timeless and elegant. The classic silhouette showcases a shiny lacquered finish paired with chrome-plated trim (clip, ring and section). The metal fountain pen design has an elastic clip, and is compatible with International Standard size ink cartridges.
Each pen comes with 2 ink cartridges (or a "giant" ink cartridge) included with the pen. Included ink cartridges are stored inside the pen's barrel.

I just really like Pelikan fountain pens. I learned to write with them in school in Germany and my prized possession is a ruby red Pelikan fountain pen with a broad nib. My second right after is this one. I like it’s weight better than the ruby red Pelikan M 205 . Great price as well!

A very affordable Pelikan Fountain pen. This pen works perfectly. It does have a chrome grip section that gets a little slippery at times. The pen comes with a large cartridge of ink. The nib is smooth with some feedback. This pen based on the cost is a basic pen that performs above its cost. A great everyday starter pen or an everyday user at an affordable cost. So far it writes every time I uncap it!!

Nice pen for the price. It has a sturdy feel to it, so I expect it would hold up well under the untender ministrations of your average student. My only complaint? The Pelikan (and other) converter doesn't fit. It seems to be cartridge-only. For that price, I can refill cartridges if I want a change of inks.
