This is my perfect pen. I love the smaller size (it's a full-sized pen, just not obnoxiously large) and light weight. The color of this edition is absolutely gorgeous and the nib is super smooth. That ink capacity is hard to beat as well. I paired it with Pilot Iroshizuku in Syo ro for a beautiful combo.

I have lived the used Pelikan student models that I’ve purchased off EBAY, and the M120 Pelikan that I purchased last year. But this one…I’m disappointed in. Not from or by any cause of the seller, but I have purchased much better steel nibbed pens at far lower prices. I’m disappointed in Pelikan for changing up the finial from the chrome colored one that they advertised to the all black one. I should have dipped it first, but I had not yet been disappointed in a Pelikan pen. I purchased a 200 model Pelikan for a friend last year, and she likes or loves it. I waited until I had tried several inks in this marbled Petrol M205, but I honestly don’t like it because it’s just not worth the price paid, even with a good discount. Again, this is no reflection upon Pen Chalet.

This was my first ever Pelikan, I have been in the fp community for about 2 years now but I didn’t understand the Pelikan pricing specially considering these are $200+ for steel nibs but the color on the petrol pretty much forced me to purchase it and I have to say easily tying first place with the pilot decimos which I adore. These have steel nibs (I got fine) and they write effortlessly! Just glide in the paper and I’ve had mine inked for a few weeks now, never any skipping or anything. Every time it just glides from the get go with just the right amount of shading and sheen! This cannot be said for other $200+ range pens cough cough sailor cough cough. I am kind of kicking myself for waiting 2 years now but looking forward to getting many more in the future!
