Otto Hutt Design 08 Fountain Pens

An exciting 2021 pen release, the Otto Hutt Design 08 fountain pen is a new creation from Otto Hutt and designer Mark Braun. The Design 08 fountain pen sets its own quality standards in every aspect of pen design and manufacturing from development all the way through to function. The pen's combination of expert craftsmanship and high-tech are evident in every detail of the pen design.

The fine, regular guilloche lines that characterize the entire ruthenium-coated solid brass surface are rotated 90 degrees on the pen's cap, and the pen's cylindrical, rotatable finial. The contrast is a play on proportions while also functioning as an indicator for rotation direction to remove the pen's cap, and activating the pen's innovative Pull+Twist piston filling function.

The mechanical spring clip, which ends in the concave cap head, is not only a mechanical feat, but is also particularly striking.

Each Otto Hutt Design 08 fountain pen is fitted with an 18K gold fountain pen nib in XL format. The fountain pen's section is matte black PVD coated stainless steel.

In Otto Hutt tradition, each pen is individually numbered making every pen truly unique. When the Design 08 cap is closed, the pen's unique number aligns with the back of the nib.

Each Otto Hutt Design 08 fountain pen comes with the included leather case, microfiber cloth, instructions for use and certificate.
