About the Opus 88 Koloro Demonstrator
The Opus 88 Koloro Demonstrator fountain pens are machined from solid bar stock. Each pen is fitted with a #6 JOWO stainless steel nib.
Designed as a true eyedropper fountain pen that holds 4ml of ink, the Opus 88 Koloro has a center rod with a knob to control ink flow. The pen's screw-down valve effectively seals the ink in the barrel (away from the pen's nib and feed), so the Opus 88 Koloro Demonstrator is safer (to use and carry) than many other eyedropper-filled fountain pens as the interior mechanism effectively minimizes chances of ink traveling through the feed/nib while traveling or while the pen is not in use.
The Opus 88 Koloro Demonstrator fountain pen comes in a gift box and includes a glass eye dropper for filling the pen.
Note: The Opus 88 Koloro Demonstrator fountain pen will not post. The pen has been machined from solid resin therefore the interior of the ink chamber has not been polished but has a cloudy look. Size for the stub nib is 1.5mm.

Guaranteed Quality
Each Opus 88 Koloro Demonstrator Fountain Pens we sell is guaranteed to be genuine, authentic and will arrive brand new & unused!
A magnetic catch here on the hinge of the lid of the case that opens up. Information about the Opus 88 included. It is an eye dropper pen, so included with the pen is one glass eye dropper. The eyedropper actually extends out, or slides back in to fit in the case. It's made of glass. It's not a plastic eyedropper so it's a quality eyedropper. And then, of course, we have the Opus 88 Koloro Demonstrator Fountain Pen. A little bit of an oversized pen, but a pretty good size. I like the design of it. It has a black clip on the pen. "Opus 88" is imprinted on the bottom of the cap, beautiful, clear resin on the pen. It is a machined pen, so the outer part of the pen has that glossy finish, and you can see the glossy finish on both the top and the bottom of the pen.
Inside of the pen, however, since it is machined, it gives you a little bit of a smokey look to the pen. It is not completely transparent, but a little opaque. It comes with a stainless steel German nib that has "Opus 88" engraved on it, and the feed on the back side. It is an eyedropper-style fountain pen, so you would unscrew the front section on the pen, and then with that eyedropper that is included, you would fill the ink into the barrel of the pen, and then reattach it. There's a small O-ring here to keep the ink from leaking out and keep the pen sealed. The backside of the pen will unscrew as well and it has a piston that runs through the center of the barrel of the pen. That piston is more to keep the ink agitated, or to burp the pen if you need to, but really it doesn't have any problems with burping or any issues with the pen. It's a great design. It has an eyedropper system that's found on a lot of high-end pens. So great design, beautiful pen. I love the black and the clear demonstrator design, or look of the pen.

This is the Opus 88 Koloro Demonstrator Fountain Pen. It comes in a brown cardboard sleeve with the Opus 88 logo embossed in gold on the top. That sleeve slides off and there is a black cardboard case for the pen. Opus 88 Koloro Demonstrator Reviews
Writes like a charm right out of the box. Good ink flow and doesn't get clogged with the shimmer inks.

If you are on the fence about buying this because you have heard that it is a large pen, I would like to offer that I have small, kid sized hands, and I am able to write just fine with it. It took me a second to get used to it, but it’s like a large highlighter, so it was fine. The real reason you should get it though is because it’s so colorful and cheerful. Makes writing fun, looks like quiet confetti.

I love my Opus88 Koloro "Color" Demonstrator. This pen is just the way I like it - a very smooth and wet writer! It feels solid in the hand & even though it is a large pen, it is easy to hold (& my hands don't cramp when writing a lot). It's also so easy to fill and to clean. I love this brand & the "color" is a bit of instant happiness. :D

What's not to love about a super lightweight hand-comfortable oversized demonstrator pen with a nib size/unit that's easily swapped to whatever you want? This pen is very comfortable for long writing sessions.

The Opus 88 Koloro "Colorful" fountain pen is so pretty, lovely. TI am pleased with it. The nib was not as smooth out of the box as that of my Opus 88 Jazz, but a little smoothing on a couple grit sheets, and it is better. The build quality is excellent. They are large pens, but comfortable in my small hands. I hope Opus 88 soon offers new models and colors. I love these pens.

Bought two on sale in the Dark Grey-a nice choice if you're not into all those bright colors. Even though grey is quite dark, there's just enough translucence to gauge the amount of ink left in it's high capacity barrel. Nice tight seal ensures ink freshness. The only con for me is it doesn't post, thus I'm wary about removing it from my desk. Good quality, nice extra-fine nib, smooth right out of the box. This is a quite large yet lightweight pen and easy with which to write for long sessions.

I have the orange demonstrator with M nib. The pen is a reliable writer with consistently good performance. The Opus 88 steel nibs are quite a value. In my opinion, Opus 88 nibs out-perform many other brands in its price range. I used a blue-ish ink, 3 fills before cleaning, and had no staining. The shuttle feature is awesome.

This is such a nice large demonstrator. Has a large ink capacity. It's perfect for my drawing needs. For the value it's hard to beat in this price range. Well worth it. Plus to see the ink swish around is pretty cool.

The person I got this for has declared it his new favorite pen, so I do believe it's a hit! It holds *a lot* of ink. Very satisfying writing experience too. Fits well for big hands especially, though even my smaller hands enjoyed writing with it. I think because of the winter weather, the nib/feed shifted a little bit in how it was set during shipping and when it warmed back up in the house, so I'd check for that (with any pen, really) just in case, but it was pretty easy to nudge back in place, even after the pen was filled. Probably best to give it time to warm up and settle. Also, as with other eye-dropper Opus 88s, give the feed some time to fill with ink (or pump it, but it might take a couple pumps) or you'll have a harder time getting started.
