Leonardo Officina Italiana Pura Reviews
Since receiving this pen a couple of weeks ago I have used it a lot. It is well made and fits nicely in the hand making for a comfortable writer. As for the writing, mine is an fine and it is smooth to write write out of the box.

My purchase was the Anthracite/Ruthenium combination with a medium nib.
This is my first Leonardo and first piston fill pen. Fit and finish is top quality. This is just a good-looking pen.
It is a large pen and I have smallish hands but it feels good. I write unposted with all my pens. It is well balanced used this way.
The profile of the ebonite feed is gorgeous. The nib wrote from the get-go and lays down a beautiful line of ink.
Included is a very black ink that flows well in this pen. I noticed no shading or sheening.
This is my twelfth order with Pen Chalet so I am obviously incredibly pleased with their selection, service and quality of pens, inks, and accessories.

I have been using my Leonardo Officina Pura pen for over a week now and I am very pleased with the purchase. I pre-ordered the aqua blue with ruthenium trim with a fine nib back in February and received it the first week of April. This makes my third Leonardo pen and first grande size. The pen is wonderful to look at, the size is great for my medium/large hands and the feel of the material is so pleasant to the touch. Aesthetically the pen checks all my boxes.
I filled the pen with Monteverde Horizon Blue and the pen wrote without any issues. The filling mechanism has a quality feel, but I do struggle to get a full fill every time. Also, if you are used to the previous Bock nibs the Jowo nib is very firm with noticeable feedback and I actually prefer the feel of the Bock nibs on my other Leonardo Momento Zero's. Another thing to note is the fine nib puts down a pretty fine line. Overall, a beautiful, quality product with a consistent writing experience. The only small complaint is the amount of feedback which might not be as bad with a medium or broader nib.

So light beautiful and great writing experience. Highly recommended especially if you love Lamy 2000. The only thing that I'm not so sure about is if I chose the right color, it is so difficult to choose between the gray and aqua blue
