However, each special edition release features a new, unique, limited time color. The pen's glossy chrome color trim provides the perfect contrast for the matte finish of the cap and convex cylindrical barrel.

Nice finish, I really like the “Glacier” grey/blue color. I chose a Fine nib and it’s the standard Lamy steel nib. Great design!

This is a great EDC fountain pen and possibly a perfect pen. The weight, style, color, and providing the right amount of feedback have made it one of my favorites (EF Nib). Some people have commented on having problems with the grip section, but I have not had that experience.

I sometimes think the Lamy Studio is very good looking, but it is just a mid-price pen in their extensive lineup. But each time I hold it, I enjoy the balance in my hand, the feel of flow I get from the pen through the nib to the paper. I realize, again, that the smooth looking section is no problem for me. The Lamy Studio has a special look, beautiful color choices, and results in pleasant and attractive writing.

Well made like all Lamy products, and very attractive. I always liked the looks but figured the chromed convex grip would not be very ergonomic. The olive version got to me and I ordered one with a medium nib. It writes perfectly, but I was correct about the grip, it being too slippery to use for any length of time. So it sits in a pen case and will never be used again. More wasted money.

I absolutely love the color and texture of the speckled/metallic Terracotta finish on this model. I don't normally go for Lamy pens, but this was a very good deal (the Black Friday preview sale).
The nib is marked as Fine, but writes a bit on the Medium side for my taste. A smooth writing pen, with a nice medium to light weight. Feels good in my (large) hand - balanced and not too thick.

This is a very nice pen. I got the terra cotta color in a fine nib. I already had the Studio Piano Black gold nib pen, but this was such a great deal on Pen Chalet I decided to try the steel nib version. It has a slightly different feel, but is an easy writer and the finish is very attractive. I’m happy with my purchase and very pleased with the service from Pen Chalet.

I ordered this pen a couple weeks ago, and love it so far! I've tried Lamys before, but I really do not like the normal Lamy clip (e.g., Safari), so I've never bought one. This one is so much sleeker, so I thought I'd give it a try. It is actually fairly hefty, so I can't write with it really fast for long periods of time, or else my wrist gets tired. There's a little bit of feedback as I write (not as smooth as my Pelikan or Sailor), but I don't mind a little scratchiness. The aquamarine color is very pretty. I would recommend this pen!

The Lamy Studio in aquamarine is another home run for Lamy. I find it a smidge darker IRL than in pics. That seems to be due to how light interacts with the gorgeous matte finish.
I may have to get my next Studio engraved as I think it'll pop and highlight the finish even further. I hesitate to break up the harmonious design quality which holds it's beauty in it's simplicity.
It's not heavy yet the quality & durability is felt in hand. It caps & posts securely with a gentle click sound that's easy to feel as well. Whether capped or posted, it balances on my index finger just below the line where the cap ends. That was checked with the Lamy converter containing ~90% fill of ink.
After cleaning out Lamy's blue QC ink, I put Diamine's Aurora Borealis in it. It is a good color match to the pen using the Fine nib. If I were using a Medium nib, I think the Aurora Borealis ink would be an even closer match due to a little more ink saturation on the page.
I may have to get my next Studio engraved as I think it'll pop and highlight the finish even further. I hesitate to break up the harmonious design quality which holds it's beauty in it's simplicity.
