The Diplomat Aero fountain pen has smooth lines and a streamlined body. Feel the legacy of the Zeppelin in the design. Made from full aluminum casting that is anodized and matte chrome fittings. The body has groove-like depressions on both the cap and the barrel. The pen has a soft sliding click cap design. Finished with a stainless steel nib or a gold fountain pen nib (only available in some color variations).

It has a metal section with a matte finished in that silver color with either a choice of the stainless or gold nib on this pen, and it is a cartridge converter-style pen. Diplomat Aero Video Script
This is the Diplomat Aero fountain pen. It comes in a silver aluminum shell box that slides off. There is a cardboard box underneath with the Diplomat logo. And, of course, we have the Diplomat Aero fountain pen. It has a cigar-style shape that is pointed towards the ends. On the top of the cap, the Diplomat logo is printed, and it has a metal clip. It has the Diplomat logo at the bottom of the cap as well. On both the cap and barrel, it has small recessed sections and a silver tip at the very end of the barrel of the pen. All metal, both the cap and barrel but it doesn't feel overly heavy. It does feels like this is made out of aluminum. It has a pressurized cap that snaps on and snaps off that slowly goes on until it clicks. I used fountain pens when I was in grade school but have not since then. Bought one for myself and for my son. Aero writes so smoothly and I really enjoy using it. We have the fine tip and it is not too small for my daily use.

This is a very unique pen that performs very well. It's not the largest pen in my collection, but definitely the heaviest, which makes for an "unbalanced" feeling sometimes. That's not a defect, but just a combination of weight and shape that I'm just not used to yet. That said, it provides an excellent writing experience -- the fine point nib is generous and dependable; no complaints there. I'm very happy with this purchase.

A very Nice pen, I was only able to have what was left over EF with the color I love, kind of concern it will be too scratchy but overall it was only very slight of it. Although it was slightly heavy side, but I love feel of it, and always wanted this piece of historical design from this pen. A great value pen and arrived safely as expected. Thank you.

I used Christmas money to purchase this pen as I had been wanting an Aero. I love how it writes: so smooth! Thank m not as crazy about the grip section as I sometimes have trouble holding onto it, maybe because of arthritis? But my suggestion to Diplomat would be to make the grip section either a tad differently or not as slick. Great pen otherwise!

The Diplomat Aero fountain pens are awesome every day use pens of beautiful design and functionality. I have both B nib and M nib and they are nice smooth writers. The pen has some weight to it so is probably not great for people who like a light weight pen but it's perfect for me! I have several and enjoy them all.
