The Conklin Courage fountain pen comes in red, white or black resin and a newly designed clip that features the famous rod of Asclepius. This symbol of Hippocrates' oath has been plated with rose gold, gunmetal, and chrome and are equipped with a #6 JoWo nib.
With a percentage of the proceeds going to organizations that help feed families in need, the Conklin Courage collection honors the brave first responders. Limited to only 1898 pieces, each pen comes with a commemorative lapel Hippocrates' patch shaped pin. Presented in a nice gift box and a bottle of fountain pen ink is included.

I have an addiction with the All American.
They all possess gorgeous turned acrylic which is 15mm in diameter for the barrel which is huge.
For the price, I feel you get a lot of mass for the cost. Compared to some pens which are super slim with the only thing heavy is the price.
I pretty much have all the models and can't wait for new releases of the All American in the future from Conklin.

Courage Red. That is my 7th All American... I needed a red, and the 1.1 stub is great. This is a great pen. (How about green Mr. Conklin?)

First, the good things: the pen is large and has good weight to it. It is nicely finished.
My one complaint is that the pen is thicker than I usually like. That's just preference. For those of you who prefer thicker pens, this one is just that. I suppose that's the "danger" of buying pens based only on an internet image. However, for a commemorative pen, I find the thickness appropriate.
Overall, I like this pen a lot. I got it partly to remember the COVID-19 pandemic in future years. I am a health care worker (laboratory). I chose the red version because I work in transfusion services, and the slightly iridescent, faintly marbled red resin does remind me of blood. It appears to swirl as I move the pen.
