About the Aurora 888 Matera LE
The Aurora 888 Matera Limited Edition fountain pen is inspired by the real secret of Matera. The first stop on the Secret Journey to Italy, Matera is known throughout the world for its famous stones, called Sassi. However, what everyone doesn't know is that the real secret of the city is the Palombaro Lungo, a large underground cistern that supplied the city's water. The large underground water tank was entirely carved by hand in soft sedimentary rock rich in fossil shells.
The Aurora 888 Matera Limited Edition fountain pen's barrel and cap are a beautiful blue and white Auroloide and each pen is fitted with an 18kt gold nib with rhodium plating.
The Aurora 888 Matera Limited Edition fountain pen is limited to only 888 pieces. Aurora Matera limited edition fountain pens are packaged in a custom sleeve over an elegant case in black lacquered wood, and the set includes a full size bottle of light blue ink.
