This is the carbon fiber black version of the Jewelria ballpoint pen. It has a carbon fiber section here in the middle with black ends and chrome accents throughout the pen. Here on the pen we have some texture engraved into the ring and up here we have Monteverde USA engraved on the pen. The chrome clip has a little curvature to it as well as it gets a little wider towards the bottom of the pen. Then on the top of the pen is the Monteverde logo.
The refill on this pen extends by simply twisting it with a little click action. If you twist it the opposite way and continue to twist you can remove the refill and replace the refill. Information instructions for replacing the refill on the Monteverde Jewelria ballpoint pen is also included in the bottom of the box inside. It accepts a Parker style refill, either a P1 or a P4 ballpoint pen refill from Monteverde.

Bought more Monteverde products. The pens are very good value but I have not had a chance to use the ballpoint refills. Pen Calet are indeed a company that can be highly recommended and I will be using them for further purchases in the US. Ron, Washington (the proper one in the UK)

I bought the silver Jewelria fountain pen although I prefer fountain pens there are times when a quick little ballpoint is best. In real life it is even better looking than on the computer screen. The pen is light weight and easy to hold and the mechanical mechanism works perfectly. The clip has a light clamp that easily slips in and out of my shirt pocket. I prefer rollerball to ballpoint pens so I put a Parker Retractable Gel Refill in. The fit was perfect and I liked it more at once. A great little pen.
