About the Conklin OmniFlex
The Conklin OmniFlex fountain pen nib can create varied line widths based on the pressure applied while writing. Each nib comes with a nib, feed and housing that will fit most Conklin and Monteverde pens. The OmniFlex nib can also be removed from the housing and used on other fountain pens that use a #6 size nib.
Choose from either plain with no branding or the Conklin branding stamped onto the OmniFlex nib in both silver or black colors.

Conklin OmniFlex Reviews
This feedback is for the old onmiflex in black, I have no experience with the new ones from Jowo not the old one without the black coating. It is hated by all on the net, but after trying with several inks I found it is just picky. With the right ink it is a very flexy, rarely railroading wonder. not as easy giving as a vintage flex nib but pretty good, certainly for the price.

Absolutely hate this nib, the original one that came with the All American LE didnt write. Tried messing around with it myself to no avail, bought a new flex nib and same thing. Doesn't write at all or if I"m lucky I'll get one or or maybe 2 letters that railroads.

Product was originally ordered to use with an older Conklin, it did not fit but I was curious enough to order a newer Duragraph to try it out. It provides good line variation, and is the wettest nib that I currently own!

Pen Chalet's ordering process and shipping was exceptional as usual. The nib itself is a very broad writer without flex. The flex works easily and there is little railroading when pushed to a reasonable flex. Unfortunately, it's too broad for everyday writing and will probably be reserved for special use with unique inks. If that's your bag, give it a try.

The nib was pretty useless. It stalled very often and often railroaded. Clearly the feed is not up to supporting a flex nib, but even without flexing it didn't flow well at all.

I was so excited about this nib, but mine was a piece of junk. While it does flex a decent amount (similar to a Noodler's flex nib), mine wouldn't flex back. Flexing it to over 1mm sprung the tines within minutes of trying it out, and I'm very experienced with using flex nibs so I know not to push them too hard. Judging by discussions in various forums, it seems like some people are getting nibs that work well and others have had the same problem as me. Perhaps there's a quality control issue at play. Absolutely unacceptable! This will probably be the first and last Conklin product I will ever buy.

I recently purchased a Conklin OminFlex nib to be used with my Conklin Mark Twain Limited Edition fountain pen. It did not take too long before I realized that I could not keep the new nib tight enough to keep it from leaking. I finally applied a bit of silicone grease to the threads of the nib housing, and voila, the problem was solved! I am enjoying writing with the Conklin OmniFlex nib! I always appreciate the care you show in filling my orders. Thank you.
