The Pineider Arco Byzantium fountain pens are a tribute to the Byzantine era. The pen's material is created using a highly skilled artisinal process layering colored resins to create a unique pattern in a mosaic concept. The Pineider Arco Byzantium fountain pen uses a piston filling system, and is fitted with a 14kt 585 Iperflex Quill nib (plated to match the pen's palladium trim). The beautiful activated quill pen clip is marine steel, and the popular Pineider twist magnetic lock offers a magnetic cap closure and magnetic post. The Arco's unique ink viewing window offers a view of the pen's ink level. The Pineider Arco has a resin body with the section and end cap matching the pen's palladium trim. Pineider's celluloid mimicking technique creates a stratification of material layers for a very durable resin that doesn't face the crystallization issues of celluloid material. The ultra-durable resin material also successfully captures unique colors similar to those popular in the 1930's.
