Snow Crystal vs Periwinkle Twinkle Ink side by side comparisons show some obvious differences, and some not so obvious differences. Pilot Iroshizuku Rikka (Snow Crystal) ink is the bright sky blue of Ama-Iro ink with a slight green tinge added, offering some lovely shading possibilities and some VERY low sheen potential that I don’t really see in my ink testing so far. Dominant Industry Periwinkle Twinkle ink approaches “blue” from a different direction. One of Dominant Industry’s Pearl series inks, the purple-toned blue features a beautiful rose gold shimmer. Periwinkle Twinkle has no sheen, and some shading, but the star is definitely the pearlescent shimmer. Both inks are great performers with an average ink flow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
