The inks are packaged inside detailed cardboard boxes with custom art for each ink collection. The color and color name are both printed on the box. The Ferris Wheel Press Russet Typecase ink is one of their 38ml everyday fountain pen inks in the unique 38ml jewelry-inspired ink glass ink bottle. The ink bottle is circular with two flat sides. One side features the Ferris Wheel Press logo in gold, and the other side features a large sticker (in the color of the ink) with the name of the ink printed on the sticker. While the 38ml ink bottle can be susceptible to &#8220;tipping,&#8221; it&#8217;s beautiful and also offers the benefit of being stackable. We put down a writing sample for the water test, let it dry for a minute, and then ran a wet cotton swab over the writing to see how the ink responded to water. However, if you&#8217;re looking for shading, we didn&#8217;t notice much. The ink seems to dry with fairly even shades. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Does Russet Typecase Ink Have Any Sheening or Shimmering Traits?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The ink didn&#8217;t show any sheen or shimmer properties (if yours does&#8230;you may have picked up the wrong bottle of ink). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Final Conclusion: Ferris Wheel Press Russet Typecase Ink Review<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>In conclusion, Russet Typecase is a good everyday ink &#8211; solid choice for journaling, calligraphy, sketching, etc. since it offers smooth, consistent flow and coloring.
