In general, Ferris Wheel Press inks are water-based inks made with high-quality dyes creating deep saturated tones and low sheen. The brand releases new colors frequently and is known for their beautiful ink colors, and their amazing packaging. (More on their packaging below). The Ferris Wheel Press products are heavily branded and themed \u2013 something about Ferris Wheel Press inks that their adoring fans love. The ink\u2019s packaging also includes extra protection for the ink bottle inside the box. The bottle itself is display quality and collectible. Ink fans will also enjoy the easy to open, unique, and interesting brass lug nut cap with what Ferris Wheel Press describes as a secure locking mechanism to secure against any leaks. We\u2019re also intrigued by the ability to set this 38ml ink bottle on its side (when capped, of course) and even stack it with other Ferris Wheel Press 38ml ink bottles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How Much Do Ferris Wheel Press Inks Cost?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Ferris Wheel Press inks fall in the mid-range price in comparison to other fountain pen inks on the market. Look for the best prices at PenChalet.com.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How Fast Does Autumn in Auburn Ink Dry?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>During our ink review, Autumn in Auburn fountain pen ink showed a dry time of approximately 8 seconds with medium to high saturation. For the water test we let our ink sample dry for about 3 minutes before we run a wet cotton swab over the sample to observe the effect. Here are the results we saw during our Moonlit Jade ink review water test:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Light color smearing (typical for any non-waterproof ink)<\/li><li>Minimal distortion of the lines \u2013 remained very legible<\/li><li>Low feathering<\/li><li>This non-waterproof ink held up quite well to the water test. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Does Ferris Wheel Press Autumn in Auburn Ink Have Good Shading \/ Sheening Traits?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>This particular Ferris Wheel Press ink didn&#8217;t show a sheen or shimmer, but we saw very good shading possibilities with Autumn in Auburn ink (depending on the pen, nib, and your penmanship). We&#8217;d call this ink a high shading ink. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Final Conclusion on Ferris Wheel Press Autumn in Auburn Ink:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Ferris Wheel Press Autumn in Auburn ink is a mid-range price ink with a very beautiful jewel-toned color. The golden yellow-brown ink is high shading, and safe for use with fountain pens.
