Herbin spiral glass dip pen (with a tip comparable to a medium-fine fountain pen nib) on Rhodia bloc pad paper. As always, we want to remind you that different papers or different nib sizes may produce different results!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What Sort of Ink Bottle Does Dominant Industry Use?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Dominant Industry Milky Way Blue ink comes in their fantastic droplet ink bottle, which is a heavy-weighted, display quality beauty. The 25ml glass bottle is packed into a drawstring bag to protect the ink during shipping, and then placed in a cardboard box along with a mini ink dropper. The cardboard packaging is simple and effective. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How Much Do Dominant Industry Inks Cost?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Dominant Industry Milky Way Blue ink is in the 25ml ink bottle, and we\u2019d describe it as a very reasonable, mid-range priced ink for an imported shimmering ink. Look for the best prices at PenChalet.com.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How Did Milky Way Blue Ink Perform in the 1-Dip Test?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>We applied our standard one dip test to see how far Dominant Industry Milky Way Blue ink would write on paper (dipping the dip pen in ink only on time). Milky Way Blue very easily wrote across the paper on all three writing samples with lots of ink to spare (one dip per writing sample, S, X, and scribble lines).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What was the Dry Time During the Milky Way Blue Ink Review?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>During our review, Dominant Industry Milky Way Blue ink showed a dry time of approximately 6-7 seconds with medium saturation, so we\u2019d put it on our list of approved inks for everyday use. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Did Milky Way Blue Show Any Bleed Through During the Ink Review?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>We saw very slight bleeding during normal use, and slight additional bleeding during the Cotton Swab Test (at the wettest points).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Was There Any Feathering with Milky Way Blue Ink?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>We saw no feathering during normal use and only very slight feathering during the water test, which is expected with non-waterproof ink. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How Does Milky Way Blue Stand Up to Water?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Dominant Industry Milky Way Blue ink is not waterproof, but we always do a water test anyway. We like to see how inks withstand exposure to water, so we have an idea of how they\u2019ll react. For the water test, we let our ink sample dry for about 3 minutes before we run a wet cotton swab over the sample to observe the effect. Here\u2019s what we saw when we subjected Milky Way Blue to our standard water test:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Dark color smearing<\/li><li>Lines still very legible<\/li><li>Some very slight distortion and line fading<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Does this Week\u2019s Ink Show Good Shading and Shimmer Traits?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The Dominant Industry Milky Way Blue ink didn&#8217;t show much shading &#8211; during the review it went down as a very consistent ink color. We did see very beautiful mixed shimmering colors the complement the deep blue base color of the ink.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Final Conclusion on Dominant Industry Milky Way Blue Ink:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The Dominant Industry Milky Way Blue ink is a mid-range price ink from a fairly new, and interesting small batch ink company from Korea. The 25ml imported shimmer ink is a nice, dark blue-green color with a unique mixed shimmer. The inks are packaged simply, but effectively and the ink bottle is fantastic. The heavy-weighted, droplet shaped glass ink bottle is a must have for collectors who love interesting ink bottles. The ink also showed a very reasonable dry time at 6-7 seconds, and we&#8217;d recommend it as an everyday ink.
