Dominant Industry is a new brand to me and I was so excited when @penchalet asked if I\u2019d review a few colors. I received a couple popular Dominant Industry inks, Downpour from their standard collection and Sunset from their pearl collection.” -Melyssa N. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Dominant Industry Sunset ink<\/a> I loved the minute I swatched it. It is from their pearl collection and is a light purple with gold shimmer. I was not disappointed at all by this ink because it looks just as beautiful in person as it does online. If you want to see this ink in all its glory definitely use a broad or larger nib.” – Melyssa N. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

“The second color is Dominant Industry Downpour ink<\/a> from their standard collection. The beautiful gray-purple almost reminded me of Robert Oster Black Violet on first glance. And after swatching both of them, they do look very similar. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In fact, Downpour ink was threatening to take my number one spot as an everyday ink – so I was inspired to do a quick battle of the purples against Robert Oster black Violet. However when you actually write – Downpour ink is definitely a gray and not black. But if you have ever wanted to try out something in the same shade range as RO Black Violet but lighter and easier on the eyes then definitely check out Downpour from Dominant Industry’s Standard Series.” – Melyssa N. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
