Herbin spiral glass dip pen<\/a>&nbsp;(with a tip comparable to a medium-fine fountain pen nib) on French-made Rhodia dot pad paper. As always, we want to remind you that different papers or different nib sizes may produce different results!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What Sort of Ink Bottle Does Krishna Use?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The Krishna Halloween Orange ink is packaged in a the small, standard, Krishna 20 ml. glass bottle. The company recently updated their packaging and labeling and we consider it pretty simple and clear (which is much appreciated). The very simple cardboard box doesn&#8217;t offer much protection internally for the ink. The inks are no longer packaged with the basic corrugated cardboard products, but instead you&#8217;ll notice they arrive in packaging made of a white cardboard &#8211; which goes a long way toward creating a simpler, cleaner overall look with easy to read labeling. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How Much Do Krishna Super Rich Inks Cost?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Krishna Super Rich fountain pen inks are available at an economical price. Look for the best prices at PenChalet.com. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How Did This Week&#8217;s Ink Fair in the 1-Dip Test?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>We use the 1-dip test to see how far one dip can write on paper (dipping the pen into the ink only once). During our Halloween Orange ink review, the ink was able to write across the paper on all three writing samples. (Using only one dip per writing sample &#8220;S&#8221; &#8220;X&#8221; and scribble lines, see the image above).&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How Fast Does the Krishna Halloween Orange Ink Dry?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Krishna Halloween Orange fountain pen ink had a super fast dry time (approx. 1 second). That super fast dry time is a coveted ability for an everyday ink, so this Halloween Orange is a great choice for anyone looking for a dark ink with a little bit of fun to add to their everyday writing. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Does This Week&#8217;s Fountain Pen Ink Bleed Through?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>We saw absolutely no bleeding during normal use on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.penchalet.com\/pen_accessories\/memo_books_notebooks\/rhodia_notebooks\/\">Rhodia dot pad paper<\/a>. Additionally, there was no bleed through during the cotton swab test (even at the heaviest saturation points). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Was There Any Feathering During the Halloween Orange Ink Review? <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>We saw no feathering during normal use, but we did see some slight additional feathering during the water test. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How Does the Ink Stand Up to Water?&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Krishna Halloween Orange ink is not waterproof, but we like to put all our inks through a water test to see how well (or not) they withstand exposure to water. For the water test we let our ink sample dry for about 3 minutes before we run a wet cotton swab over the sample to observe the effect. Here are the results we saw during our Halloween Orange ink review water test: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Some slight line distortion<\/li><li>Some very slight feathering<\/li><li>Some slight fading, BUT<\/li><li>Very legible lines<\/li><li>Some light color smearing running the wet swab over the ink sample<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Does Halloween Orange Ink Have Good Shading Traits?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>During the Halloween Orange ink review, we saw nice shading traits &#8211; from dark orange-black to a variation of lighter shades. We also noticed some golden sheen during the heavy cotton swab test. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Final Conclusion on Krishna Halloween Orange Ink:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Krishna Halloween Orange ink is a nice orange color with nice shading possibilities available at an economical price. The deep pumpkin orange-black ink color isn&#8217;t waterproof, but has an extremely quick dry time. We really enjoyed working with this great holiday inspired ink and we hope you enjoyed learning a little more about it.
