Herbin spiral glass dip pen on French made Rhodia dot pad paper.&nbsp;The dip pen has a tip similar to a medium-fine fountain pen nib.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Let\u2019s Talk About the Pineider Ink Bottle<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Pineider fountain pen ink comes in a large squared 75 ml. (2.5 oz.) capacity bottle, with a medium sized, ribbed lid for easy opening. The Pineider packaging is simple and effective. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How Much Does Pineider Fountain Pen Ink Cost?&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Pineider Blue ink is a very reasonably priced ink for the large quantity of Italian-made fountain pen ink. Remember to check for the latest discount prices on your favorite pens and fountain pen inks at PenChalet.com.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How Did This Week\u2019s Ink Fair in the 1-Dip Test?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>We applied a one dip test to see how far one dip could write on paper (dipping the pen into the ink only one time). Pineider Blue ink easily wrote across the paper on all three writing samples.&nbsp;(As seen in the review results above showing the three writing samples: \u201cS\u201d \u201cX\u201d and scribble lines). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How Fast Does the Pineider Blue Ink Dry?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Pineider Blue ink is a medium saturation ink and it showed a dry time of about 6 seconds, which is quick enough to be used as an everyday ink.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Did This Week&#8217;s Featured Ink Bleed Through?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>We saw absolutely no bleeding during normal use, and zero bleeding during the heavy saturated cotton swab test.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Was There Any Feathering While Using Pineider Blue Ink?&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>We saw no feathering during normal use, and only some slight feathering during the water test.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How Does the Ink Stand Up to Water?&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Pineider Blue ink is not a waterproof ink, but we put it to the water test anyway as usual. We saw light color smearing, but the lines were still legible (with some slight fading). There was also some slight feathering during the water test. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What About Shading and Sheening Traits?&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Pineider Blue ink has some really nice shading traits, if you have a nib that allows ink flow variation (like a stub or italic nib). The ink&#8217;s deep see blue color veers towards lighter dusty shades of blue with heavy saturation points showing a nice, red sheen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Final Conclusion on this Week\u2019s Featured Pineider Ink:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Pineider Blue fountain pen ink is a very reasonably priced Italian-made ink from a company that&#8217;s been around since the 1700s. The 75 ml bottle and packaging is functional, clear, and neat with simple color labeling. The large 75 ml ink bottle&#8217;s lid has a medium sized opening and is easy to open. Pineider Blue ink is a gorgeous everyday royal blue color with a very reasonable dry time that makes it easy to designate as a great option for an everyday blue ink color.
