3952 Makatao Fountain Pen nib<\/p><\/div>\n

The 3952 Makatao Fountain Pen is available in five lively colors: Blue, Purple, Red, White, and Yellow. Also, each pen is unique in it’s pattern and no two are exactly alike. We used the Blue Makatao in this review, which has blue and green swirls across the body. In addition, each color comes with a chrome colored clip and trim. The Makatao comes with a two-toned steel #6 nib, which is definitely another plus. With some great eye-catching colors, you’re sure to find one you like.<\/p>\n

Qualites<\/h2>\n

As mentioned, the Makatao comes with a two-toned steel #6 nib, which allows for easy nib swapping, if you are so inclined. However, the Makatao comes stock with a well-tuned German nib already. It accepts standard international converters or cartridges, and also comes with a converter already mounted. Also, the Makatao would support an eye-dropper conversion as long as you properly use silicon grease or an o-ring. Length-wise, the pen measures to be 5.6 in., and 7.25 in. posted.<\/p>\n

Performance<\/h2>\n

The 3952 Makatao Fountain Pen looks great, feels great, but does it write well? Indeed it does! For the purpose of this review we used a Blue Makatao Fountain Pen with a Fine nib. Also, we used the Krishna Vaikhari Ink<\/a> that we reviewed on earlier this week. During the writing sample, the Makatao wrote beautifully. The grip section was comfortable to hold, and the pen overall was on the light side. While posted, the pen was a little back heavy, but your experience may vary. All in all, a great writing pen.<\/p>\n
