New for 2017 is the Pilot Vanishing Point Crimson Sunrise. Each year pen enthusiasts anxiously wait for a few things: the new color of the Lamy Al-Star and Safari pens; the new Pelikan Edelstein ink of the year<\/a> color and among other things, the latest limited edition Pilot Vanishing Point pen<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The venerable Pilot Vanishing Point pen<\/a>, manufactured by Pilot Pen Company<\/a> continues to be a top seller at Pen Chalet.\u00a0 Its unique, functional and just plain cool retracting nib continues to be one of the smoothest in the pen industry. The retractable design makes it one of the most recognizable and beloved pens on the market.\u00a0 There is also are a wide variety colors and trim combinations to choose from, including the carbonesque in black and blue, the black matte with black trim and the fairly new \u201cstorm trooper\u201d, which has a white body with black trim.<\/p>\n

However, these standard colors will be available throughout the year.\u00a0 The limited edition releases each year are extremely limited and sell out immediately.\u00a0 We anticipate this years limited edition Vanishing Point to be no different.<\/p>\n

The wait is over and the limited edition Vanishing Point for 2017 has been announced. This years color is the Pilot Vanishing Point Crimson Sunrise. \u00a0With this pen\u00a0there will only be 850 pieces available.<\/p>\n

Each Crimson Sunrise pen will come with a rhodium plated 18K gold nib and matching rhodium accents.\u00a0 The barrel and cap of the pen will be a gradient color scheme. Ranging from a bright fire engine red at the grip, slowly changing to a deep burgundy at the end of the barrel.\u00a0 This color combination with its ombre finish makes this pen a unique addition to the Vanishing Point family.<\/p>\n

Pilot Vanishing Point Crimson Sunrise<\/p><\/div>\n

The name, Crimson Sunrise is a perfect description for this newest Pilot Vanishing Point.\u00a0 The deep dark burgundy color reflects the night sky as the day is about to begin. The color slowly changes to a bright red, reminiscent of the sky just before the sun bursts from the horizon with its blinding bright light turning the night into day.\u00a0 Pilot Vanishing Point Crimson Sunrise is a perfect compliment to the previously released 2015 Twilight pen, which reflects the opposite or the day turning into night after the sun has set.<\/p>\n
