The newest Visconti limited edition pen has arrived, the Visconti Pininfarina Iridium Collection. The Visconti Pinifarina Iridium collection is the third pen in the Visconti Pininfarina<\/a> line of fine writing instruments, following the Viscontin Pininfarina Carbon Graphite and Visconti Pininfarina Nanotech pens. Once again Visconti Pen Company<\/a> has teamed up with the famous Italian design company Pininfarina to produce another spectacular pen in its increasing line.<\/p>\n

Visconti Pininfarina Iridium<\/p><\/div>\n

The Visconti Pininfarina Iridium collections keeps the original style of the two previous Pininfarina pens with its rotating nib extraction technology and the protected airtight closed nib enclosure, which allows the pen to not have a cap yet maintain its wetness while not drying out during short periods of non-use. The Pininfarina design improves upon the uber popular Pilot Vanishing Point<\/a> retractable nib pen that continues to be a top seller at Pen Chalet. The Avional Iridum coating on the barrel and clip portion of the pen truly make the Visconti Pininfarina Iridum pen unique, with its continual changing rainbow display of color. The Avional coating also is resistant to scratching, making this limited edition eye catching pen available for everyday use.<\/p>\n

Other stylistic characteristics of the Visconti Pininfarina Iridum pens is its black trim, which allows the Avional Iridum coating to contrast perfectly and the Visconti Tubular Chromium 18 Smartouch nibs, which are available in extra fine, fine, medium, broad and stub sizes.<\/p>\n

Unlike the other two Visconti Pininfarina collections, which have a limited run of 930 pens, the Visconti Pininfarina Irridum collection is limited to a worldwide production of only 388 pens. Visconti is offering the Pininfarina Iridium pen in a fountain pen version, which retails for $1,895.00 or a rollerball version, which retails for $1,695.00.
