Qualities
The 3952 Leather Notebook Carrying Case combines style and functionality, with it’s sleek, yet durable, leather design. Embossed on the top cover is the 3952 logo. Also, the case has two pen loops attached on the right side of the case: 1.3 cm in diameter (.5 in). however, with use, the leather can be stretched to fit other larger pens. The whole case comes bound with high-quality stitching in white thread. The 3952 Notebook Case comes with one blank notebook, although it also will fit a Rhodia N° 14 Pad. Currently, we do not know the specific paper used in the refill included with the case. However, it is very fountain pen friendly and only experiences feathering or bleed through with a large amount of ink. The 3952 Notebook Case retails for $39.99 USD, although we currently have it on sale.
Performance
Of course, the goal of every case is to protect its contents. For this review, we had one of our employees carry and use a 3952 Leather Notebook Carrying Case for two weeks. After some stress testing, both purposeful and accidental, we found that the case holds up remarkably well. Being dropped repeatedly from desk height left little to no scratches on the leather. Also, there was very little daily wear and tear to speak of. The leather is waterproof, but the sides are open which means water can still get to your pages.
Conclusion
In conclusion, the 3952 Leather Notebook Carrying Case is great for carrying around your daily notepads. Whether you need a professional look for your next meeting, or just want to protect what you write, you should check out the 3952 Notebook Case. Nice looking notebook cover.
I’m always on the lookout for a small, fountain pen friendly notebook. Thanks for the review, I’ll have to investigate this one!
Good review, thank you
Looks good! I’d use this and into my EDC.
Does this cover only take notebooks that are top bound or will it take side bound notebooks too?
I like this case as an alternative to the letter sized padfolio I often carry. It looks professional but also it’s a nice size.
I like the pen loops!
This looks like a fantastic notebook! Thank you for the opportunity…❤️
Can you have too many leather notebook cases? This one looks very nice. I have lost track of the number of times I’ve entered Pen Chalet giveaways – perhaps this is my time! Thank you so much for another great review and giveaway. You asked what people would like to see you review, so I would like you to review wax seal kits. Thank you.
This is so nice! I love the smell of leather, but then again who doesn’t. Lol!
So nice. Please review more notebooks.
It is beautiful !
I’m still looking for along term pad cover in this size- perhaps this will be it.
I’d like to see a review of fluorescent or highlighting inks that can be used in fountain pens!
My favorite ink today is Diamine Shimmertastic Arctic Blue – the combination of shimmer and sheen is great! Thanks for the giveaway!
This carrying case is stylish and functional!
Even a bit of wear and tear looks good on leather. Adding this to my wish list.
What a lovely notebook! I am interested in seeing reviews about inks that are distinctive colors like dark green or deep purple.
I’ve always wanted a leather-bound notebook, they look really neat.
This looks like a great notebook case.
This is a beautiful leather notebook case. Very professional looking and with a pen loop like the Hobonichi, where notebook can be kept close, love it. Perfect for every day use at any setting and glad it fits the Rhodia 14 pad.
THanks
Hope this time i will be the lucky one. Btw the notebook is awesome
Very nice set! Good luck to us all, especially to me! 😉
This looks so rich! How fancy would I be carrying around my calligraphy practice Rhodia pad in this? Plus two of my favorite flex pens?? Oh joy!
Current favorite ink is Monteverde Charoite, I can get some decent sheen with a fine nib on Rhodia/Clairefontaine paper.
Nice cover note.
thanks for the opportunity
