About Dots ACME Studios Dots
ACME Studios Dots Rollerball Pens, designed by Charles & Ray Eames, is a part of ACME Studio's Standard Roller Ball Pens. The pattern used for the design was developed in 1947 by the Eames' for a textile competition at MoMA. In 2000 the Eames Office in conjunction with Maharam, the textile manufacturer, produced the Dot Pattern for the first time. An order of this pen includes one black roller ball refill. Further fine details of the pen include the artist's signature engraved on the cap band and "ACME" on the clip. Packaging comes with an ACME metal box with a black sleeve and ACME literature.
