This is an awesome pen! I’m glad I bought it.

Absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE this pen. I have over 100 fountain pens (mostly vintage) and this is the first one I've written dry and had to refill three times now. My new daily writer.

The Sailor Professional Gear Realo fountain pen that I recently purchased is very nice writing instrument. It is everything the reviews have said about the pen, which is regularly in the top rated list for fountain pens. I prefer the piston ink filling mechanism compared to cartridge type and like the ink viewing window that allows you to gage how much ink remains in the chamber. I rate the nib as one of finest looking nibs in the market. Smooth writing pen. I purchased a medium nib, which produces a thinner line width compared to my other medium nib pens that I have purchased, but the results still look nice; if not better. I highly recommend this pen.

This is my first Sailor. It arrived on time and it is a beautiful pen. It fits the hand well both posted and unposted. Filing it was easy and worth the extra to have the piston filler; the view window is a great feature.

I selected the fine nib, and it wrote very well from the start. I have use this for a week and it was first choice. Wish I had purchased it sooner.

I purchased my new Sailor pen after receiving extremely helpful advice and assistance from Ron at Pen Chalet. He was very knowledgeable about this product and other comparable ones. My new pen has exceeded my expectations regarding weight, balance, and grip in my small hand as well as the smoothness of Sailor's fine nib. Although I'm somewhat of a pen aficionado, this pen writes as well as well as, actually better than, more expensive fountain pens by the usual suspects. In my humble opinion, you can't beat the quality of Sailor fountain pens and this one in particular, and the customer service at Pen Chalet. Paul M.

Pen is smaller than i expected but it writes like a dream!

This pen leaks ink where the nib joint meets the barrel. Now looking at other reviews on line see that this is not the exception. Very disappointed after spending this much on a pen.

Excellent quality pen. Engraving turned out exceptional and the pen works perfectly.

An outstanding fountain pen. Smoothest nib I have written with in a fountain pen, even smoother than my MB 146 Le Grande.
