Writes ok but bit underwhelmed with the finish on the pen.

The nib is surprisingly smooth, and the ink capacity is better than I expected. Overall, this is a good choice for something beyond a starter pen.

This was a gift for Christmas for my sister and it was a hit.
She absolutely loved the pen and it was her first stub nib.

Great gift for my daughter-in-law who just finished her doctoral degree! She was absolutely thrilled with the quality of the fountain pen.

Good heft, cheery colors. Blue isn't usually a color described as cheery, especially when combined with white in an arctic theme. But this pen is a cheerful blue pen.

Everything about the pen is great. It has a stunning design, has a proper feel when writing, and the cap posts properly, giving it a balanced feel when writing. This was my first Conklin, and I am thoroughly impressed.

This is a gorgeous pen because the swirls of color around the pen are just exquisite. This is my first multi-colored fountain pen and it won’t be my last. It’s a little heavy due to the material it’s made from, but I just don’t post it.

This pen has a beautiful matte finish that feels nice in the hand. It came with a converter. Screw off top posts nicely, but the pen is long enough that you don't need to post it to use it. I filled it with Noodlers Apache Sunset. If I haven't written with it in a while, it needs a bit of priming, but I don't know if that is the ink or the pen, or a combination. The medium nib has a direction that it likes to be held and will only write if it is turned in that direction. This isn't uncommon, but good to know if you are just starting out. Doesn't write wet, nor dry. Really, a lovely pen.

To start with the design looks nice with a mix of the blue and white. The pen has a nice feel to it; the weight and balance. I ordered my Stylograph with a Fine Nib. This pen is very easy to hold in your hand. It is also very easy to write with. My Fine Nib is a very smooth writer, all be it a little wetter and thicker writing fine point than a couple of my other fine point nib pens. I would still recommend this pen to anyone.
Whether or not you choose to post the cap, does not effect the balance or weight of the pen.
I do have on little negative. I wish the band on the cap on which Stylograph is written was a little smaller.
