This third edition features a barrel made from the typical Pelikan cellulose acetate to create a unique tortoise shell pattern. The cap and portions of the barrel feature red resins with gold colored accents. The pen comes in an attractive gift box with a bottle of Pelikan 4001 royal blue ink.

The Pelikan M101N Tortoise Shell Red Fountain Pen comes with a 14k gold nib and a piston fill mechanism. The pen has a small yellow ink viewing window towards the front of the barrel.

Pelikan M101N Tortoise Shell Red Video Script

This is the Pelikan M101N Fountain Pen in the Tortoise Shell red color. It comes in a large cardboard box and has the Pelikan logo on top and the box slides out. Included with this Limited Edition pen, is a bottle of Limited Edition Pelikan ink.

And then the pen comes in a nice soft leather pouch. And here is the Pelikan M101N Tortoise Shell Red Fountain Pen. Comes with a red resin cap and knob at the end with the Tortoise Shell barrel there in the middle, and it has gold accents throughout the pen. We have a gold band that runs around the pen.

It also has Pelikan etched in the top of the cap, and on the back side it has Germany etched into it. And then it has a gold clip with two gold bands that run around the bottom of the cap. And you can see that Tortoise Shell barrel has a little different design. Each pen will be unique and it has a small groove cut into the bottom of the barrel with that piston, it's a piston filled Fountain Pen, so that's the knob that controls the piston filler.

The cap on the pen unscrews, and it has a clear viewing window. You can see my hand through the other side. It's a yellow, quite clear and then it has a red grip section. And it has a 14 carat gold nib. It's a gold color with the Pelikan logo engraved on it.

To change or to add ink you simply unscrew this knob. From the back you'll see that piston filler move through that window to fill the ink into the pen.
